WRONG! In Kansas, (and likely most other states) a dealer sells a car with an implied warranty of merchantability. Normally, I am on your side on this, Luther. I represent one of the largest Ford Dealers in the Country. The company gets sued all the time. We almost always win. But, a dealer cannot sell a car that is in such bad shape that it does not meet the purpose of a car. I am not saying that is the case with this Mercedes having no a/c. BUT, your statement that a dealer does not have to disclose anything is clearly not correct. EVERY state has requirements about certain things that must be disclosed (as does federal law). Donald H.
