MANY democrats in West Virgina voted for Huckabee so that Romney couldn't win. This started a snowball effect and it kept happening. Democrats didn't want Romney to get the nomination because they believed that Romney could attract the conservative base. It has however backfired. McCain is not my choice, but because he is the nominee, a number of disaffected democrats will vote for him.
