Hi Gang!
I wrote earlier about the lower oil filter to oil cooler hose on my 78
240D failing. It looks like I could cut the metal pipe area where it's
damaged and spice it together with a piece of high pressure hose and hose
clamps. Any drawbacks to that - as long as I use a reinforced hose? Was
thinking about the AC hose I spliced once using a Splice Kit from NAPA which
holds to this day - 10+ years later.
Anything I'm not thinking about?
