That's what they say, but I'l wait a decade or two to see how they  
hold up.  GM still has problems -- one of my co-workers bought a nice  
Buick recently, and it's been back to the dealer for warrenty work  
half a dozen times, including a leaking GPS antenna seal.  Better  
than they used to be, for sure, but then we all know how easy it was  
to be better at quality than GM in the 80's.

My brother in law rented an Impala a couple weeks ago when we were in  
Livonia for my nieces high school graduation, and it seemed quite  
nice.  Lousy rear seat access for my mother, but that's not unique to  
GM (I really liked my Volvo 740 in that area), but a big improvement  
over my 86 Buick Century.
