Swetha, It is possible to execute the script from command line.
1) Create your script and save it as .vbs extension in C drive. 2) Go to start button - click on Run option - type cmd - press enter -(then command window will open) - type cd\ - press enter - Now prompt would be change like C:\> C:\> Cscript filename.vbs press enter key U can try it.
