Wait.. before you re-install !! check the "temp" & "tempdir"
environment variables. QTP scan through these environment variables
while loading. The problem could be -
1)  because of the space in the variable. try pointing it to c:\temp
OR
2) there are more than one dir defined as temp & tempdir.. try
removing one.

NOT TO MENTION - Note down the current settings before you make a
change. - Incase you need to revert back.
