Hi Rashmi, QuickTest Professional includes built-in support for testing standard Windows applications. You can install and load add-ins from the QuickTest Professional setup, enabling QuickTest to recognize objects in the corresponding development environments and to provide functionality appropriate for that environment.
When you work with these add-ins, you can use special methods, properties, and various special options to create the best possible test or component for your application. For some environments, you can extend the relevant QuickTest add-in to support third-party and custom controls that are not supported out-of- the-box. QuickTest add-in extensibility is currently supported for the Web, .NET, and Java add-ins. For more information, see the relevant Extensibility Developer's Guide (available with the extensibility setup).
