Hi Roman,
Thanks for the reply...
Actually we are trying to compare 2 XML files only for the Schema's and
not data. We have 2 files, 1 the template which includes only schema's
and no data, whereas the 2nd file from production which will contain
data as well with schema's. When i talk schema, its the items and nodes
of an XML file.
Hope this will help.
Looking for your response....
Regards,
Ravi R.

Hi Ravi,
The last sentence is not clear. What does it mean "compare 2 files
only for the schema's"? Do you want to see if the files use the same
schema?

Roman

Hello Everyone,
Just a reminder for my question...
We are currently facing issue in comparing two XML files for verifying the
schema's (1 template with blank data and 2nd production XML with data
included) using qtp.
Previously we use to work with XMLUtil.CreateXML() and then after opening
the file, we check whether the template schema's are available here in the
production or not.
Whereas now, we have more schema's included. We need a solution, with which
we can compare 2 files only for the schema's rather than the data compare.
Requesting some one to help in this regard.
Thanks,
Ravi R.
