Hi all, Has anyone migrated from QTP 10 to QTP 11 ? Have you faced any kind of issues while doing so ?
A few questions regarding that : 1. After converting the scripts to QTP 11, could the same test be run through QTP 10 again ? (for backward compatibility). The reason for this is, I typically work with 4 business units, and not all of them want to move to QTP 11 at the same time. It would be nice to know if anyone has already faced such issues and if yes, is there is any patch available for this ? I know there has been such issues earlier with QTP 9.2 to QTP 9.5. 2. There is an outstanding issue with QTP 10 not able to recognize ActiveX objects correctly in IE8. HP is in a process of releasing a formal patch for us for that. Have you faced any such issues with QTP 11 ? 3. Does you app / QTP 11 itself crash while working with IE / WPF etc ? 4. Also, in general, has the experience working with QTP 11 been better or worse ? Can you list it with reasons? Any such inputs would greatly help me.
