Hi,

We are in the process of craeating the Object Repository for our
Application.

The task is split between 4 persons and each one is creating the OR for
specific screens. The application uses many custom controls and so the
objects are stored using Ordinal identifiers Location.

After completing almost 25%, we realized that the objects created in 1 PC
is not recognized in another PC. When we select 'Highlight in Application',
error is thrown saying that the object cannot be found eventhough the same
application is run.

We also noticed that QTP recognizes the parent control but not the child
controls. For Eg., it recognizes the form name properly and highlights it,
but not the buttons inside the form.

I tried to 'Update from Application' and this time, it gives a different
value for the Ordinal identifier 'Location'. If the original value is 4,
when I try to capture it now, it gives a different value like 3 or 5.

Please suggest a way to resolve this issue.

Regards,
Abinash.
