Hi Aman, This was the issue I had in the year 2009. Application was developed in Delphi 5.1 version . At that time QTP 10.0 with delhp adding didn't give proper solution to identifiy custom controls in the application.
So we had worked with Test Complete 7 and it was able to identify all the controls including custom controls. For your scenario - First perform feasibility with QTP 11.0 with delphi addin , it it is idnentifying all the controls and then you are good to go. In case it is not identifying custom controls in the application which are heavily available in the application , then you need to take the decision to drop QTP 11.0. If you have time do feasibility of Test Complete (latest version) on your application and see all the controls able to identify. You can download test complete from "AutomatedQA" site. This tool also support VBScript. For identification and scripting almost similar to QTP.
