Hi Abhi, First things first.. Think from a longer term perspective.. Everyone here would be spending around 30-35 years of their life in IT industry.. You would not be doing testing for all these years.. So if you think from a longer term viewpoint.. You might want to see yourself in some Senior Manager role.. And for that kind of job, its always better to get exposure in different types of roles.
And from purely testing perspective, manual testing is no good. No one even hires a manual tester now-a-days.. I have not seen any manual testing job opening in my company in the last 2-3 years.. All they want is someone with specialized testing experience.. Be it automation, performance, data warehouse, security etc.. * cheers, a n i s h [QTP Framework Tutorials]<http://www.automationrepository.com/2012/03/qtp-framework-types-an-introduction/>| [QTP Blogs] <http://www.automationrepository.com/qtp-blogs/> ** [Subscribe to get new posts in your Inbox]<http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=automationrepository/feeds> * On Fri, Aug 30, 2013 at 5:25 PM, Sedhupathi Gnanasundaram < [email protected]> wrote: > Hi Krish, > > Happy to your words..
