Hi,
I was not sure about the patch, so i had downloaded the QTPWEB_00037
patch for IE8 & Win7.Along with that i had done some changes required for
the patch one is in the UAC settings (Control Panel\User Accounts and
Family Safety\User Accounts>under "user account control settings changed to
"Never Notify" , and second change in the IE, under tools>internet
options>security tab> unchecked the "Enable Protected Mode".
After that it started working fine now....
