In my experience, using excel. application scripting will be more comfortable.
Because normally in most of the projects we will get test data only in excel sheet and after executing scripts showing the results in excel sheets with hyperlinks to the screen shots will look good to the client. if we are using datable it is double time work. we need to import data to the tool and made some changes and again export into excel sheets. instead of this why dont we make changes directly in excel sheet.
