Hi Guys, I am in need to explore QTP for regression testing, where same data to be pumped into 10 identical region.
Based on the below link, I manged to configure QTP to recognize my Terminal Emulator. http://www.automationrepository.com/2011/08/qtp-terminal-emulatorte-add-in-configuration-for-hummingbird-host-explorer. Now what ? How do I start entering data into my application ? I have gotten a sample from another team but its overly complicated. Can some one kind enough to share a simple login/data entry script would be great. I know VB/VB Script and great depth of excel macro. 1. Identify the active TE window 2. Enter data into the TE window 3. Collect result from the TE window.
