Well, my version of MacLucasUNIX (v4.30) runs doublechecks with FFT=256K
and currently uses about .168 sec/iter. This is a multi-processor RS/6000 F50
with 332 MHz PPC 604e's. Every processor gets one copy of the program.
A 43P with 233 MHz 604e needs the same time for a 128 K FFT.
I believe due to smaller caches on this machine (compared to the F50)
it needs more than double that time on a 256 K FFT.
Your JavaPrime is not so bad...
