Has anyone had any luck making the prime number software run on clumky 286 PC's? or maybe even on old XT's (with about 1024 of RAM). I'm not even sure if the software exists for XT's... Is there a way of finding out how many computers are linked up to the GIMPS mainframe and if so, can one also see what the progress is (collectively)? I suppose i'm really asking for the mainframe's web page.
