A 386, even one with a Cyrix 83d87 which is significantly faster than
the Intel 80387 of the same vintage, is painfully slow, even back when
double checks were in the 1.2M range. This is why George no longer supports
it in the CPU check boxes. I wonder how long it will be before he drops
486's.
Mine takes about 15 seconds/iteration in 7.8M. (Don't worry, it's just
giving a faster processor a head start. It's getting so slow it isn't worth
the cost of electricity.)

Jeremy, if you find a Java client fun, go for it.
