Galois died in a gun fight at the age of 21. Newton was one of the biggest assholes of all time. Leibniz was an alcoholic and a womanizer. And Euler was a quiet family man, who had 7 of his 13 children die. Norbert Weiner was one of the most inept people of all time (I'm sure you've all heard the story of when he went to the wrong house...) Well, Ok, maybe Euler wasn't all that interesting, but mathematicians can be as interesting as the next guy...
