I had a brief discussion with George about this matter. He confirmed
that running Prime95 as a system service on a system that is accessible
to other (local) users may open this security hole. The NTPrime version
is the way to go for such environments. For at home machines, Prime95 as
a system service is probably not a problem. User interaction seems to be
neccessary for the expolit (remote attacks, i.e. from the internet,
don't seem to be possible) - so if you trust your kids not to hack your
box, Prime95 service is ok at home.
