This is really weird; I build out-of-tree, both with -j28, or just with -j1 (on a rubbish Atom laptop), and can't reproduce it, even with a clean build. I've sent a patch now which _should_ fix it; can you please try it and let me know if it works? Thanks, and sorry for the breakage.
