Precisely the issue is fundamentally the same and there's three solutions.
Here's another
$export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/path/to/custom/build/DSOs && ./configure...
Let's not necro-bump bugs every time someone starts building stuff and doesn't
know how to manage multiple copies on their system :-\ Please?
