These 19 patches reduce the number of times we calculate the CFG by 61.74% (after the previous series, which already reduced it by 55%).
To do so, I've added some infrastructure to the CFG code to combine blocks, and to insert and remove instructions while preserving the information stored in the containing basic blocks.
