2.3.x went to feature freeze.. no p3 support in there ..
i think there was a new fpu exception that was not handled by the p3
patches out there..
without handling this one an fpu operation returns 0x40000000 (for me it
did).
the best known p3 patch made by doug ledford vanished from his page
(http://people.redhat.com/dledford)
so i think it wont make it into 2.4 .. :(
