Hi Daniel. I didn't anticipate people using these links as a standalone way to download keys, but it's a nice feature.
Regarding the Graph API, we need to think more about if and how we're going to interoperate with existing SKS keyservers, the Facebook graph API, or new key distribution systems like Google or Yahoo e2e. We'll spend some time learning how people use this and getting feedback (like yours).
