I am surprised you did not notice this when using the master branch
for the development, or did you use an old release?

We ported the i.MX5 boards for the mainline kernel[1].

So I think you need to do the same. Another option is Quanta to help
porting the i.MX5 driver for linux mainline and get those applied on
linux-fslc fork.
