Hello,
I'm wondering how to set stack decorations so that only title, minimize,
and maximize show, and not that little x-box on the top right corner of
the window (sorry for getting technical).
I had a bit of a panic today when, with only an hour away to the next
class of the day, I learnt that some of my morning students had closed a
substack by clicking on that darned close-window decoration instead of
navigating back to the handomely clear bye-bye button I'd scripted on
the mainstack. In the heat of the moment, my frantic solution was to
reset the decorations of the mainstack and each of its numerous
substacks to just the title; more calmly later on in the day, I tried
this likewise bass-ackwards script but with less luck (the close-box
still showed):
set the decorations of stack x to empty
set the decorations of stack x to title
set the decorations of stack x to "minimize,menu"
