don't know what OS but in Mac and NT, you can move the files using
AppleScripts or cmd/command.exe in Win32.
You can also do a directory listing and save as all these stacks elsewhere
and then delete them...

There's no other way I know of...

Subject: Changing Directories

Does anybody know of a way to change a file's directory, of course under the
stipulation that both the old directory and the new are on the same volume?
Copying files (in my case Metacard stacks) to a new location and then
deleting the old ones takes too long.

Thanks!
