I've tried dowloading the prebuilt .dylib and other files from the
Metakit homepage. I've tried buildding them from source. I've tried
using them with the python 2.2.1 that ships with Jaguar, and
MachoPython, and a brand spanking new python 2.2.2 built from source.
Nothing seems to work; invariably, nor matter where I put Mk4py.dylib
(under whatver name), Python complains on importing metakit.py that the
Module Mk4py does not exist or can't be loaded.
I went so far as to reinstall Jaguar and subsequent updates in an
attempt to address any possible misconfigurations. No dice.
Anybody have any ideas?
The corresponding install and usage on Windows 2000 was drop-dead easy.
