[Metakit] New metakit python documentation

Consider this a trial version.  We always seem to have documentation 
questions on the mailing list and, admittedly, there are some aspects of 
metakit which are confusing. 

In the vein of user supported documentation, I have extended the 
standard documents with some usage notes and source code. Bugs and 
comments are welcome.
