Problem Solved!!
I turned off f-ing psyco and it just plain worked.
I usually make it a habit of using it bt default for all my classes. I am now the biggest enemy of psyco you can imagine.
That's interesting. I use psyco all the time in conjunction with metakit and haven't had these problems. I'll keep this in the back of my head if I run into any problems in the future.
