[Metakit] Memory Consumption

I am using Mk4tcl as a searchable data structure but not opening a disk 
file or saving to disk.

Whenever possible I do a 'mk::view size WHATEVER 0'.

However, the memory used by the process steadily increases.

Is there any way to avoid this memory comsumption creep?
