Hi everyone, I just heard about the NZB file format today. It is very
similar to metalink, an XML based format used to pull parts of files
from newsgroups (NNTP) and reassemble them.

So it seems to me metalink should do one or more of the following:

1) Allow for inclusion of these files, similar to how .torrent files are
handled now.
2) Specify how this format can be used in a separate namespace in
conjunction with metalink.
3) Expand the metalink spec to meet the requirements of NZB users (note
this is also similar to gigdo, assembling parts together to create a
single file). Perhaps define a way to specify URLs for parts of files?
This could be as simple as adopting the <segment> tags.
