We did submit the paper to P2P 09', but I wouldn't call the feedback as very encouraging. :-) There was a very valid issue in there though. Phex supports multi source downloads using Gnutella (which is something we didn't knew before putting together ideas and writing this thing down). So probably we can make some changes in this to make the difference between the metalink system and Phex more visible. I'm not very sure on how to go about doing this. So I'd like people to chip in with ideas and advices on how this can be improved. We haven't yet started building a prototype, mostly due to the reason I just mentioned. As soon as the protocol gets finalized, I think we can start coding it up and see how it behaves.
