Jim and others, I hope the levity of the Venus/Uranus/orbiters/bacteria thread took the edge off what are "tense" times for all of us. I think I must have had a few takers for a bit of time(seconds to minutes or longer??)...I guess that is the gauge for an April Fools tale. I thought the Texas and the Middle East references gave it way completely.
Stay safe out there in Chicago guys. By the way Jim...would a meteorite from Uranus be classified a gaseous achondrite (imagine the splattered roof shingles with a hammer)? John > Latest news out of Chicago is that this meteorite did NOT originate from > Venus. The conventional thinking now is that it will be the first confirmed > meteorite from URANUS. > > Jim Strope > 421 Fourth Street > Glen Dale, WV 26038 > > Catch a Falling Star Meteorites > http://www.catchafallingstar.com > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2003 10:27 AM > Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] Venus?!?! > > > > Look at your calendar....does today's date ring any bells? > > > > ______________________________________________ > > Meteorite-list mailing list > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list > > > > ______________________________________________ > Meteorite-list mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list ______________________________________________ Meteorite-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list
