Hello Meteorite-list friends,

I forward this warning message from the director of the Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter:

In response to Greg Catterton's post of 2/26/2014 to the meteorite-list advertising several meteorites, I contacted him and agreed to buy the 6 thin sections he was selling, for use at our University of Arizona Sky School. I sent him payment that day via paypal (his method of choice), and unfortunately, he never sent the meteorites and has not responded to several attempts to contact him. I filed a claim with paypal and following their investigation, they have refunded my purchase price due to the fact that he did not respond to their inquiries either. This is the first fraudulent transaction I have experienced in the meteorite world, and felt it important to share this information.

-Dr. Alan Strauss

Dolores Hill
