I am sorry if I upset your friend or yourself, but destroying a meteorite just so you can redo it was simply idiotic. Why break something just so you can glue it back together? and losing in the process the Widmanstatten pattern, the very identity of the meteorite that simply cannot be re-created. As for this latest idea....... Using a meteorite that came down in peace, that helped early men learn the value of iron, and then turn it into a gun, this might be the ultimate insult.
