I'm pretty much over meteor-wrongs being posted to the list
but I stumbled across this one and had a good chuckle.
My favourite bits are:
"It still has a slight smell of being burnt." after
supposedly being found in 1924!!!
and
"Local historians recount, "For weeks, them out of towners
clogged our streets in effort of gett'in a glimpse of the
thing"."
