There is NO list policy banning the announcement of ebay auctions on this
list. It was agreed some time ago that the word "ad" should appear in the
subject line so that list members not wanting to read advertisements did not
have to even open the email. Check the list policies and you see that I am
correct.
Just because some list members HATE ebay does not mean they have the power
to ban ebay ads. They should direct their efforts to more important list
problems such as vulgarity and flame wars.
So post away Michel. I would love to know when your ebay ads
appear.

listings, steve schoner's attempt for a new group
Sorry Chtristian and Peter,
I did not read the message related to Ebay.
I was very pissed off by many non meteorite related messages that I almost
stop reading all.
I understand that there should not be any
annoucement of Ebay Sales on this list.
Just 2 questions:
Is it in the list policy ?
STeve is probably right. Some times ago I
understood that we shoud clearly write ADD ebay on the object so anyone can
automatically skip off the messages with the Outlook ( or other ) t messages
tools
Where should I send my ebay sales adds ?
Personnaly I don't care send messages to other lists.
Sorry again.
BTW I have 23 auctions ending in a couple of
hours !
Best regards
Michel.

Still
many members like Michel Franco (sorry Michel but you are just only
ONE example for what I want to say becuase you recently did it) have
not accepted Steve's idea...
Hello list,
I like to find all ebay and all other AD's on this very
list.
Somtimes items are sold within a few minutes and I don't
like to check the yahoo list every 5 minutes.
I made a couple of very
good buys thanks to AD's on this list. For some items I was - unfortunately
- too late
as they were put on the list when it was 3:30AM in Europe
:-( (e.g. 5g of Ensisheim).
PS.: I think that Meteorite AD's are much more meteorite related than a
lot of other contributions that have recently reached this list!
