Hello Paul and List,

Great questions, Paul. I'm enjoying reading the
responses.

I was at home with my Mom and Dad as I was 14 years
old. The three of us watched the event unfold on our
little ~14 inch (?) B & W TV together.

I think the Apollo program was truly our nation at
its finest. However, I remember my quite elderly
grandparents at first NOT believing that we really
were on the moon. Then, as time progressed, their
point of view switched to blaming NASA for the "bad
weather around the world" being due to them "sending
those men to walk on the moon".

  Sincerely,

  Robert Woolard
