Hello list,

A helpful list member noted to me:

"??? Not sure what you mean here. The newspaper article was in ***July*** while the Dresden meteorite fell in ***June***. The times don't seem to match either, unless there is an issue here of different time zones."

Your are correct, thanks for the note. The time, one month later, is within 12 minutes. Well within the margin of eyewitness error, the meteor seems to have exploded in the same spot and the final papers claim meteorites were found in and around Dresden. The final paper I had posted noted three pieces were found, and three pieces of Dresden (Ontario) were found. However, unless their is a catalog of meteorites is in error here, unlikely, the papers do not refer to Dresden. If anyone saved them, they should remove the Dresden meteorite notes.
