Yes, this one is a chondrite, so why cut it? He was lucky to get it from the finder, and since it is so perfect, and pristine, like Antarctic meteorites, he saw no need to cut it. A name is not all that important, and besides, what provenance!
It seems that it has already found a new home, in my hands less than a week, but I have enjoyed it greatly.
