Michael spelled out his thought process very clearly. The auction is a public venue and anyone present can record and offer the results, but it isn't his responsibility to do so for anyone but the consigners, buyers and the irs. I'm sure somebody copied it all down. Simply find another source.
Does that mean there is no problem with relasing the info? I copied down the realized prices of all lots - but didnt post them out of respect for Michael's wishes - if he would like to chime in on this issue and condone it I'll post away
