Adam and List,
Please excuse this post if I'm misinformed.
Given that an auction has one winner and therefore one "contribution",
wouldn't more money be generated if each on the List contributed $100 or
what ever amount each could, to the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army,
Catholic Charity or which ever organization they choose?
