<<Motion appears to have been from Cleveland, to Pittsburgh, to
Philadelphia, to Dover, Delaware. West to East. Looks like orbital debris,
offhand. SW3
frags so far have travelled mainly from South to North.>>
Dover, DE and Philadelphia PA are not mentioned in the article - Dover OH
and New Philadelphia OH are. The likely coordinates of the possible stones
would be very close to Parral [del Ohio:-)]: N. 40 deg 30'; W. 81 deg. 30',
all
a little south of Canton, Ohio. After all the recent alarms, this has got to
be the most promising, just waiting for someone to say that their farm was
stoned, good luck, wish I could be there, and in Ensisheim, and in Germany now!
The Summer Solstice is today (Wednesday June 21 2:26PM Berlin daylight
saving time). It is at exactly at the moment when Portugal will be shaking in
her
boots and Mexico cantando not llorando, even all of those fine Mexicans
sleeping in front of the stadium tonight for good seats. It reached over 40 C
here today so the gods send us favorable signs in the FIFA matchup. Solstice
will be 14:26 local time in Germany. That's an early 8:26AM EDT.
Finally starting at that magical 14:26 German time (08:26 New York time),
Cancer is the constellation that will be quite a Beehive of activity!! As
Cancer's takes the astrological sceptre from Gemini the moment of the
Solstice,
three planets will be visible all at at once by Cancer where Mercury is in the
process of crashing in for the Solsticial party! Here is a wonderful chance
to view Mercury just after dusk which just about enters Cancer (which it
actually does on June 25 but it is brighter now and each day the
constellations
sink further in the endless orb). Saturn has been hanging there dreaming of
a more temperate Saturnalia. Mars is there a tiny bit higher up, zipping
through soon to escape to Leo at the end of the monthy after whispering
secrets
to the ringed and and gluttonous gaseous Titan planet. Mercury will max out
(best for viewing) these next three or five days in Cancer and be a wonderful
view an hour after Sunset in the West right above where the Sun goes to
sleep. The two bright stars west (right) of Mercury are Castor and
Pollux(closer
to Merc., and brighter than his brother). The center of Cancer is a fist or
two above them along the ecliptic where Saturn will lend its gleaming aura,
and higher yet Mars is dimly burning in Simojovel red.
Enjoy tomorrow and if you are lucky to be along the Tropic of Cancer, hang
on to your shadow and bring along an oatmeal container for me! (PS, if you
are on the bottom of the earth, this all makes sense only if you are standing
on
your head...sorry)
Saludos, Doug
