The Win A Meteorite Contest has a WINNER! The winning guess is 36 grams!
The response to the contest was GREAT! Within minutes of launching
the contest I had 4 guesses and they were really close! After well
over 100 guesses later someone has already guessed the weight of the meteorite.
AND THE WINNER IS.... Steve Eshbaugh in Missouri, USA with a correct
guess of 36 grams!
Congratulations Steve! This 36 gram iron meteorite is an awesome
specimen to add to any meteorite collection. It's a beautiful piece
with a very interesting shape. I hate to let it go but you earned
it. Great job.
Also, I'd like to announce 1 runner up. I wasn't planning on doing
this, but since the response was so great and people were bidding so
many times I thought it only fair to give an extra meteorite away.
How cool is that? This was such great fun and everyone got so very
excited about it, I'm having another contest. This time though, I'm
adding one more rule... ;)
