Hey everyone, today March 5, 1960one of the greatest chondrite meteorite showers ever occurred in Burkina Faso, the Gao meteorite fell. Tens if not hundreds of thousands of stones fell, and many kilos of stones are still being found there today.
Gao is a fantastic and very affordable meteorite, with impact-melt specimens and many pieces being oriented.
