Perhaps all of us in the field should schedule a "field-trip-assembly" to the labs. After all, what NWA # are they working on now, 7000? We will and should wait. And along with Greg, don't we all want solid solid solid classification? Otherwise it will become a mess (perhaps may already be, considering, for example, the pending pairing impatient 5400 science) if the very precise anaysis is compromised. I'll wait, as we all should, considering how long it took our gifts took to show up on our doorstep!

I do not understand the impatience these days...let the scientists perform their work without the instant gratification a few individuals want.

Ok I agree what is the hold up? What is the lack of enthusiasm? Why
are the people who do the classification work not excited to produce
results? Is there something about a meteorite that falls from space to
the earth that is not exciting?

Hi Listees!

Does anyone have any updates on the classifications of the following meteorites?

Lorton
Kosice
Wisconsin (Livingston/Mifflin)
Cartersville

None of these falls have been published in the Meteoritical Bulletin
yet and there has been no word on the petrologic types. If anyone
knows the petrologic types of these meteorites, please share that
info. :)

Best regards,

MikeG
