The 1985 edition of the Catalogue
Of Meteorites lists the fall of the Ensisheim as November 16, 1492. Other sources give November 7, 1492.
I assume the November 7th date is the
old Julian Calendar date. As very few meteorites have an older date it would be nice if catalogues would be more consise as to whether the Julian Calendar or the modern Gregorian Calendar is being referenced.
