I have never had any problems out of those. They are kinda proven like Windows. I suggested Glary if you have uninstalled something recently, you can use it to clean up the registry afterwards. It just keeps things in order. I run it ever so often just to tidy up.

If my registry needs repair, then it's too late. ;)

I was briefly tempted to install something to view those videos,
because I hate to miss out. But I have had horrible past experiences
with Quicktime and Real Player. Watching a video is not worth having
my PC screwed up to the point of needing registry repair. Wiping a
system and re-installing the OS is a PITA. :)

Best regards,

MikeG

Quicktime and Real Player are the devil - install them and you'll
never get them out of your system later. Both re-write your registry
and cannot be properly removed with a technician. Even if you
uninstall them, your registry is screwed up afterwards. My advice is
to avoid both.

Hi Adam,

In my experiance MOV is not a typical format and most "non video savy"
people will have a hard time with it. MPEG is much more common and
delivers a similar low bandwidth/high quality picture.

I use AVS video converter (free online) to convert to MPEG

Cool Videos though!

A lot of you are having problems loading this while others are having no
problem
at all. You will need Video/QuickTime to read .mov format. I used this
format
since the download bandwidth is much less without sacrificing too much
resolution. I have not tried loading this on my Windows 7 machine. It
loads
automatically on my XP unit.

Everybody is posting movies of their special pieces so I thought I would
join
in.

Here is an image of NWA 5000, the most valuable formally appraised
meteorite
in
history in .mov format:
